Ecological Preserve

Come on out and celebrate Spring in the woods. There is an EcoPreserve Trails Work Day Saturday April 6 10 am-1pm. We'll be doing trail work, general clean-up and meadow restoration. Meet at outdoor classroom next to Preserve parking lot off Rod 3, Livingston Campus

The annual Run for the Woods will be held on Saturday May 11 at 9am. This scenic 5k race winds through the various trails of the Preserve. Come celebrate National Trails Day (a day late) on Sunday June 2 at 1-3pm. Sections of the EcoPreserve will be closed to public access during the annual deer management program. Please stay on marked trails.

The DVOA Orienteering Meet will be held Sunday April 26 Test your navigational skills with map and compass. All are welcome with courses of varying difficulty and length. All starts are from 10am to 1pm. http://www.dvoa.org/info/maps/mapit.php?map_id=63&sked_id=1329

The annual Run for the Woods 5k trail run is back. It is scheduled for Saturday morning October 16.  This event is organized by the Rutgers Ecology Graduate student Association.
