Wildlife caught on camera

Wildlife caught on camera

The Rutgers EcoPreserve participated in the Smithsonian Institute’s Snapshot USA: a collaboration between researchers from each of the 50 states seeking to capture the diversity of animals across the United States using camera trapping. A network of motion-detector cameras (sometimes referred to as camera traps) were set up across the Ecopreserve during the months of September through October, 2019. A gallery of our favorite images has been compiled from the hundreds of images that were captured. Catch a glimpse of wildlife in their environs when humans aren’t around.
